Tie the yarn in a knot around the wreath and start wrapping. You can also chose to hot glue the end of the yarn to the back of the wreath.
Keep wrapping the yarn tightly around the wreath to keep it thick. If you run out of yarn, start a new one. Continue wrapping the yarn until it’s all covered (the aim is to hide the wreath underneath). Once it’s done and you are satisfied with the end result, make a tight knot at the end and cut off the excess yarn or just hot glue the end.
Hot glue your Owl to the piece of wood.
Hot glue the piece of wood (with the Owl on it) to the bottom center of your wreath.
Using a placement of your choice, hot glue the bottom of the flowers to the wreath.
I hope this Tutorial helps. Have fun making our own!
Friday, November 30th was a very sad day for our Family, as we lost one of our own. We lost a good man. Eric was a Son, a Nephew, a Father, an Uncle, a Cousin, a Brother. He was a beloved Child of God who fought the good fight till the end. Eric was an amazing inspiration and a wonderful example of what Philippians 4:13 is all about. He was such a loving person and he will be greatly missed.
The Bible teaches us to give thanks in everything (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18). Even in suffering, God wants us to give thanks and trust that He will get us through. Eric’s new journey has just begun. Let’s give thanks to God and ask Him to welcome our brother and to keep him close until we meet again.
Please, pray for us, as we mourn the lost of our brother and prepare to lay him to rest. Pray that we find the peace of God that comforts and restore. Pray that we may be released from the pain that is weighing down our minds. Pray that God rest his soul.
Eric was a good man with a good heart and like any other human being he had his flaws. Let us forgive any missteps that may have given us the wrong impression of his true feelings.

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.” – John 14:1-2
Contrary to yesterday, today is a beautiful day (still a little windy, but manageable). I’ve been out watering some plants in the backyard when I stopped and took a good look at my Oleanders. What a terrific, yet toxic plant! The plants bloom beautifully in the Summer and they are appealing to the eyes. These deadly beauties were here long before we bought our home and we’ve talked about getting rid of them and/or replacing them. We are all very conscious of their presence and our kids will tell you that ‘Oleanders are deadly and they must not go close to them.’ Still, we always keep an eye on them whenever we are outdoors. Then I thought about my Daffodils.
What about Pheasant’s Eye, Lily of the Valley, Jimson Weed, Poison Ivy, Rhododendron, Jerusalem Cherry, Hydrangea, Mistletoe, Lantana, Mountain Laurel, Dumbcane, Wisteria, Chrysanthemum, Delphiniums, Belladonna, Foxglove, Ranunculus, and Spathiphyllum? These plants are poisonous. Some cause delirium and hallucinations. Most of us gardeners love them for their beauty, bright colors and fragrance. We care for them without knowing exactly what we are dealing with. Still, we love them. Below is a list of toxic, deadly plants (just to name a few).
Click here, here and here for a list of poisonous plants.
Toxic Plants.
Aside from their poison and toxicity, some plants are dangerous. Take Poinsettia for instance. Though non-toxic, its latex can cause an allergic reaction to some individuals when coming in direct contact with the plant. What about Roses? Their thorns could cause serious injuries to anyone who come in contact with them. Some Cacti and Succulents are dangerous, even poisonous, click here for more information. What about those beautiful house plants/air purifying plants? Some are dangerous to kids and pets.
Some plants can cause discomfort, others can kill. The good news is that we can prevent it by being informed. Once you know what you are dealing with, you will be ready, aware and prepared.
I have been up most of the night, updating and transferring data from my old computer Hard Drive into the new one. Though it took me a while, I’m happy. I now have all the information I need in one place and I am relieved. The best part about this process is the amount of knowledge I gained along the way.
I owned a Fujitsu Laptop for over 7 years, which I really liked. I finally parted with it because its video chip was getting bad and couldn’t be replaced. I got a Dell as a replacement. Just as I was creating more memories; I placed it into hibernation mode one afternoon early this month and it never came back up. I had it for just a year and it gave up on me. You would think that with the advancement in technology, devices would last longer and perform better. Older computers, though slower, tend to be more reliable.
I bought a new Laptop replacement and ordered a USB 22 Pin SATA Adapter Cable to allow me to transfer all the content from my Dell Hard Drive into the new Laptop. As you can see on the picture below, I had to use a computer monitor to access the content of the old Hard Drive because my current laptop only has one USB port on each side and the Adapter Cable wasn’t long enough to reach both sides.
Computer Data Retrieval.
What you need:
A computer
Two USB ports
USB 2.0 For 2.5″ HDD Hard Disk Drive Laptop to SATA 7+15 Pin 22Pin Adapter Cable
Connect the Adapter to the Hard Drive being careful not to touch the underside of the Hard Drive since it has its electronic circuit exposed.
Connect the 2 USB connectors to your computer/laptop and let it recognize it.
Double-click the Hard Drive icon and access your files.
My advice to anyone is to always back up your data to an external drive (weekly, monthly and in extreme cases, daily). It’s quite a scare and nightmare when you suddenly lose all your data or can’t access your important information because of a computer crash/malfunction.
Turn your Firewall on. Get an Anti-Virus software and a Registry Cleaner to protect your computer files from malicious software and from being broken into as well as to help keep them safe.
